31 Days of Inviting Positive Change


Day 3: Be Grateful for your Friends
Yesterday we introduced the intention to take more notice of the good things already around us every day. Today is about remembering all the good friends in our lives. With this I mean the actually close friends we have, whether that’s one special person or ten from various areas in our lives. NOT the 500+ “friends” we may have on social media!

Now, grab a piece of paper or your notes app on your phone and think of your favourite person in your life. Write down how you met and how you became friends. What connected you? What made you click? What do you love about them? Then list at least 3 things why you are grateful for them being your friend. Then add what you would like to experience with them. That adventure holiday? A few uninterrupted hours of chatting away? Growing old together?
Send it to them. Or call them and tell them what you wrote down. Let them know you’re grateful for them being them and being in your life. We often take those who are the most important to us for granted. Don’t. Celebrate your friendships!
